Spectrum Aquatics had the opportunity to connect with Mr. Botten to gather his insights on Hydraulic Pool Lifts, both from a professional and personal perspective.
"I prefer the hydraulic pool lifts because of their reliability.
My experience with the battery-powered lifts is that staff do not install the battery until you request to use it. They do not like to leave the battery in because of the fear of misuse, especially at hotels and resorts. The hydraulic lifts are always ready to go without searching for staff to permit you to enter the pool."
"The recreation facility that I lap swim at has a hydraulic lift and I always feel confident that it will be available l when I arrive early in the morning, all year long regardless of how many people are also using the lift."
"Yes. They are very reliable and easy to operate. I would especially encourage fitness centers, recreation facilities, therapeutic pools, or public pools where the expected use includes a population that needs the lift for access."
