The Wellness Center & Natatorium expansion at the University of South Dakota delivers a dynamic, all-in-one aquatic and wellness destination designed to serve both campus and community. Spanning 45,800 square feet, the facility blends high-performance competition features with versatile recreational amenities, creating a space where training, wellness, and play come together seamlessly.
At its core is a 13,000-square-foot competition pool engineered for performance and flexibility. With 8 50-meter lanes, 23 25-yard lap lanes, dual 1-meter and 3-meter dive stands, and two movable bulkheads, the pool is built to support everything from daily training to high-level competition.
Beyond competition, the facility is designed to engage every user. A dedicated activity pool and spa provide a space for recovery and relaxation, supporting athletes and community members alike.
Custom Xcellerator Starting Blocks are the perfect fit for a facility of this caliber, delivering the performance competitive swimmers demand with a stable platform for explosive starts and a comfortable, secure surface for daily use.
Additionally, clustom, ADA-Compliant 4-Bend Hand Rails and Transfer Rails provide easy access to the spa, and Hard Top Safety Covers protect the Xcellerator blocks when not in use.
