Kalispell Access Ramp ADA-Compliant Pool Ramp
The Spectrum Aquatics Kalispell Access Ramp is an ADA-compliant sloped pool entry designed to provide safe, comfortable, and independent access to the water for people with mobility challenges. As a sloped entry, the Kalispell Access Ramp is recognized by the ADA as an accessible means of entry and can help facilities meet accessibility requirements for new construction and renovated commercial pools. Depending on the size and configuration of the pool, it may serve as the required primary accessible entry or as an additional accessible means of entry alongside a pool lift.¹
The gradual sloped entry creates a natural, comfortable transition into the water, making the Kalispell Access Ramp especially beneficial for therapy pools, warm-water rehabilitation pools, and learn-to-swim programs. Individuals using wheelchairs, walkers, crutches, or those with limited mobility often find a sloped entry easier and more comfortable than transferring into a pool lift. Families with young children, seniors, and aquatic therapy participants also appreciate the confidence and stability that a gradual entry provides.
Constructed from premium stainless steel with Spectrum Aquatics' durable powder-coated finish, the Kalispell Access Ramp is built to withstand the demands of commercial aquatic environments while providing years of dependable service.
¹ ADA Note: The 2010 ADA Standards recognize sloped entries as an accessible means of pool entry. Larger swimming pools generally require two accessible means of entry, with at least one being either a pool lift or a sloped entry. Smaller pools may satisfy the requirement with a single pool lift or sloped entry, depending on the pool's size and configuration.
