For decades, Spectrum Aquatics has designed and manufactured starting blocks built to meet the demands of competitive swimming and the challenging commercial aquatic environment. As the sport, technology, and needs of aquatic facilities continue to evolve, so does our starting block lineup.
Spectrum Aquatics is excited to offer the next generation of our competitive starting blocks: Dash and Sprint with Rapid Lock™.
As we move forward with these new platforms, Spectrum will be sunsetting our Record Breaker and Xcellerator® Starting Blocks.

The Record Breaker and Xcellerator have been trusted by aquatic facilities and competitive swim programs across the country for years. Their durability, performance, and versatility helped establish the foundation for Spectrum's next generation of starting blocks.
Dash and Sprint build on that foundation with updated, lightweight designs, innovative features, and a simple path that allows facilities to choose the starting block that meets their needs today while planning for the future.

Dash Starting Block
Designed to deliver dependable performance with the flexibility to grow alongside your swim program, Dash features a large 24" x 32" non-slip platform and is available in single post, square single post, and dual post configurations.
Dash offers aquatic facilities a durable and economical starting block while maintaining the customization Spectrum is known for, including powder coating, finishes, logos, sponsorships, school pride, and custom artwork.
For facilities that want to add track-start capabilities in the future, Dash is designed to make that transition simple.
And just as the Record Breaker offered an upgrade path to the Xcellerator, Dash can easily be upgraded to Sprint with Rapid Lock by adding the Rapid Lock wedge and handholds.

Sprint with Rapid Lock™
Sprint represents the next evolution of Spectrum's track-start starting blocks.
Featuring a large 24" x 32" platform and the innovative Rapid Lock™ adjustable track-start wedge, Sprint gives swimmers a comfortable starting platform with an intuitive wedge that can quickly be adjusted between 11 positions.
The Rapid Lock system eliminates traditional cables and pins, creating a simple and dependable adjustment system designed specifically for the aquatic environment.
