We’re excited to celebrate the grand opening of the Yellowknife Aquatic Centre, which officially opened to the public on May 5th, 2025, in the Northwest Territories of Canada.

This incredible new facility is a true centerpiece for the community, designed to inspire wellness and year-round fun.

The aquatic centre features a 25-meter, 8-lane lap pool designed for training, fitness, and competitive swimming; a vibrant leisure pool with playful water features and an exciting single-flume pool slide; and a warm-water therapy pool that supports rehabilitation, aquatic fitness, and wellness programming.

The lap pool features Dual Post Xcellerator Starting Blocks, a custom powder-coated 3M Switch-Back Dive Tower, and a 1M Dive Stand. for both competitive swimming and diving programs.

The leisure pool is now home to a Single Flume Poolside Slide in Sunset Orange, 2 Extended Reach Jamma Jr! Pool Basketball Hoops, and custom powder-coated Access Ramp Rails for an inclusive pool entry. 

The therapy pool has compliant and inclusive powder-coated Ramp and Stair Rails to keep the warmer water pool accessible for rehabilitation and wellness programs.
